One of my favorite books of all time. Dr. Dyer, researches intention as a force in the universe that allows the act of creation to take place. This book explores intention as something you do as an energy that you are a part of. It teaches you to co-create your life with the all-creating universal attributes: creativity, kindness, love, beauty, expansion, endless abundance and receptiveness. Dr. Dyer offers an intention guide with specific ways to apply the co-creating principles in daily life.
Singer tells the extraordinary story of his life experiment, after a deep spiritual awakening, he decided to let go of his personal preferences and simply let life call the shots. As Singer takes you on this great journey into life’s perfection, the events that transpire challenged me but also deeply inspired you to look at your own life in a radically different way.
This book explores inner peace, through an inward journey, it transforms one’s relationship with ourselves and the world around us. You’ll discover what you can do to put an end to the habitual thoughts and emotions that limit your consciousness. By tapping into regular meditation and mindfulness, the author and spiritual teacher Michael A. Singer shows how the development of consciousness can enable us all to dwell in the present moment and let go of painful thoughts and memories that keep us from achieving happiness and self-realization.
This book was written by a woman who was told by her healer to give something away, every day, for twenty-nine days, to help heal herself of multiple sclerosis. The book chronicles her incredible journey and the profound effect on her life and the lives of others who’ve tried it. During her practice, she created a blog where she invited her followers to take the challenge and share their 29 gifts and results with the other readers, which turned into a full-on movement and led to this Bestselling book. I personally did it and can tell you this thing works!
When we are challenged with a problem, from health to financial worries or relationship issues, we often depend on intellect and hard work to solve it. In this radical book, Dyer shows us that there is an omnipotent spiritual force at our fingertips that contains the solution to our problems. Dyer will unveil the essential foundation for spiritual problem solving, drawing from the wisdom of Patanjali, a Yogi mystic, to the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi, whose legacy is one of love, harmony, and service. Each chapter contains specific practical applications for applying the teachings of these wise men to everyday problems, including affirmations, writing exercises, and guided meditations.
This is a book about self-awareness and tapping the healing energy within all of us.
This is an excellent starter book. Short and well-written, it talks all about the Law of Attraction in-depth and how to manifest what you want into your life.
The woo-woo factor is quite high here: co-author Esther Hicks was your average housewife until she suddenly started channeling this spirit named Abraham. The book, and all her work, contains the teachings of Abraham, who is spirit that communicates with Esther. First half is teachings, second half is to-dos. I totally relate to it all.
Good, short, based on the wisdom passed down from the author’s Toltec ancestors. It talks about the four things you need to do to live an awesome life: Be impeccable with your words, don’t take things personally, don’t make assumptions, and always do your best. It definitely worth a read as it lays out some very simple and profound truths that will absolutely change your life for the better if you live by them.
If you’re new to the whole Ego thing and really want to grasp the transformative nature of being present, this is basically the book for you. Another one to changes the way we see the world and does a great job of helping you grasp some pretty deep theories about reality and time and perspective.
Another freaky story of a suicidal guy, Eckhart, who woke up one morning all enlightened and transformed and was in such a state of bliss that he spent the next two years channeling this book. A “must” if you haven’t yet read.
This book is Marianne‘s interpretation of “A Course in Miracles” which is Christian-based. Its main message is that we should solve all our problems with love and it contains one and it contains one of my favorite poems EVER called Our Deepest Fear. Either you read the book or not (I hope you will), do yourself a favor and google Our Deepest Fear right now, print it up and put it by your desk so you can read it every day. It will make newfound self-love.
Good old Deepak breaks achieving success down into seven, easy-to-follow steps based on spiritual principles. This is one of my all-time favorites for its small size and profoundly potent advice. It delivers deeply spiritual and powerful information in bite-sized chunks and gives clear exercises on using it in your everyday life to achieve what you want.
Louise Hay is the godmother of self-help, she was doing it way back when it still wasn’t cool, cured herself of cancer using her highly-lauded principles of self-love and now has her own empire with a publishing company and everything. I use her teachings regularly, still today and they work for me. Even though it’s super woo-woo, it doesn’t get any better than this. The back of the book is all about the body and how all our injuries and “dis-eases” can be traced back to negative thought patterns. So, for e.g. if you hurt a finger is because you are worried about minor things and you will get an affirmation from Louise on how to heal yourself. There’s a lot of testimonials out there of people who completely cured themselves doing what it says.
The legendary Yvon Chouinard, climber, businessman, environmentalist and founder of Patagonia, Inc. shares the persistence and courage that have gone into being head of one of the most respected and environmentally responsible companies on earth.
Chouinard is the man who brought doing good and having grand adventures into the heart of his business life. You will read stories of ambitious climbing expeditions that inspired his innovative designs for the sport’s equipment. This book deeply affected me as a nature enthusiast that I am and someone that wants to contribute for a better world.
This is an amazing read. Sr. Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Records and Virgin Airlines, is one of the most inspiring people out there as far as I’m concerned. The book details his life from when he started his little record shop to becoming one of the most famous and radical entrepreneurs who went on to buy his own island and fly hot air balloons over the ocean in the jet stream.
